FORMAVOIX

Formavoix offers the following one-on-one or group training programs and courses. They can be covered under French funding programs for further training such as OPCA, AFDAS, UNIFORMATION, DPC, and others.

Several options are available: 1-day training course; 2-day training course; or as part of further training, with the possibility of completing only one module.

  • Customized training for health, performing arts, education or other public-speaking professionals
  • Training programs accessible to all those interested in exploring their singing and speaking voices in order to improve their knowledge about voice and posture

The training provided qualifies as actions to acquire, maintain, or improve knowledge as defined under Article L.6313-1 of the Labor Code.

The goals of the training programs and/or courses are:

  • To teach good, solid vocal and breathing techniques that anyone can use to improve their personal or professional life by avoiding problems related to forcing or overusing the voice or to the environment. Upon completion, the trainees will have gained self-confidence and learned how to manage stress and emotions.
  • To support midwives in their prevention activity, as well as to consciously teach mothers how to use the perineum and the voice during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. This will most likely strengthen the midwives’ commitment to providing care via non-drug interventions by offering additional tools to facilitate natural childbirth.

Our relationship with our voice is crucial, as it shows how much our voice is part of ourselves, and corresponds to our character. It’s what makes us say, “This is my voice,” and it is essential to our expression as a living, thinking, autonomous entity.
